Statement: Update on the complaint filed against a NEDA official

The National Economic and Development Authority, through its Committee on Decorum and Investigation (CODI), has completed its report following a thorough investigation into the sexual harassment complaint filed against one of its officials.

This is part of the agency’s commitment to act swiftly on complaints, especially those involving respect and dignity in the workplace.

The NEDA Secretary has transmitted the CODI report, concurring with the Committee’s recommendations, to the Office of the President. In accordance with rules and procedures, the President will give the final decision on the matter considering that the subject of complaint is a third level official appointed by the President.

NEDA will be working closely with the Office of the President as called for to ensure due process and confidentiality of proceedings related to the complaint.
