PH GOV’T COMMITS TO ENSURE HUMAN DEVELOPMENT, FOOD SECURITY IN THE COUNTRY – NEDA

The Philippine government strongly commits to protect and advance the gains of the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) Programme of Action to ensure human development and food security across all levels of society, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) said.

TEMPORARY INCREASE IN PORK MAV, LOWER IMPORT TARIFFS TO ENSURE ADEQUATE AND AFFORDABLE FOOD SUPPLY – NEDA

The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) supports the temporary increase in the minimum access volume (MAV) for pork from 54,210 to 404,210 metric tons, coupled with lower tariffs, to help fill the supply deficit, reduce food prices, and ensure our food supply is adequate and affordable.
